Bollywood actress Payal Ghosh has finally apologized to actress Richa Chadha in a defamation case.
Before apologizing, Payal Ghosh was seen repeatedly stating on social media that she would not apologize to Richa Chadha.
Interestingly, Payal Ghosh had agreed to apologize to the court during several hearings but later refused to apologize on social media.

Richa Chadha had filed a claim for Rs 11 million against Payal Ghosh for using his name in describing the ‘rape’ incident.
A news channel and so-called film critic R Kamal, including Payal Ghosh, were also named in the compensation case.
Richa Chadha had filed a defamation suit against Payal Ghosh in the Mumbai High Court on October 7.
Richa Chadha had filed a suit against Payal Ghosh at a time when Pail Ghosh had recently mentioned Richa Chadha’s name in an interview.

Richa Chadha had said in the petition filed in the court that Payal Ghosh mentioned his name as a third party during the interview and said that filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who tried to rape him, said that one of his Other actors, including Richa Chadha, are ready for the phone call.
Richa Chadha had filed a case against Payal Ghosh for being named in the rape case, which had its initial hearing on October 8.

Even in the initial hearing, Payal Ghosh had agreed to apologize before the court, but later issued statements on social media that she would not apologize to Richa Chadha.

Later, during the hearing on October 12, the court had directed Payal Ghosh to inform the court within two days whether to apologize or not, after which the actress apologized on October 14 and submitted documents to the court. ۔
According to The Hindu, Payal Ghosh submitted his unconditional apology to Richa Chadha in court and the court accepted his apology.

After Payal Ghosh’s apology, he will no longer face any legal action in the defamation suit, but in the same case, a news channel and so-called film critic R Kamal will face legal action. ۔

According to the report, the court also directed the news channel and film critic R Kamal to submit an explanatory statement to the court within four weeks regarding whether to apologize or not in the defamation case.
In this regard, Mumbai Mirror reported that Payal Ghosh said in her apology that she would remove all social media posts against Richa Chadha and apologized to him for defaming him.
At the same time, the actress told the court in an apology that she would not share any insulting words against Richa Chadha on social media again.

Richa Chadha also accepted Payal Ghosh’s apology through his lawyers and submitted documents acknowledging the apology to the court.
