Indian actress Payal Ghosh has refused to apologize in a case filed by Bollywood actress Richa Chadha against her for being named in a ‘rape’ case against filmmaker Anurag Kashyap.
Richa Chadha has filed a claim for Rs 11 million against Payal Ghosh for using his name in describing the ‘rape’ incident.
A news channel and so-called film critic R Kamal, including Payal Ghosh, have also been named in the compensation case.

Payal Ghosh responded to the defamation suit filed by Richa Chadha in various tweets on the social networking site Twitter.
I hv nothing to do wd Ms Chadda.We as women hv got 2stand wd each other,shoulder to shoulder.I don’t want any unintentional harrasment to her or me on this matter. My fight 4justice is against only Mr. Kashyap &I want 2focus solely on dt ryt now.Lets make d world c his true face.

According to the report of Punk Villa, the actress said that she has nothing to do with Richa Chadha and as women, they should understand each other.
She added that she did not want any unintentional harassment against her or Richa Chadha in the matter.
Payal Ghosh said that his fight for justice is against Anurag Kashyap.

In another tweet, she said she would not apologize to anyone, “I have not done anything wrong or misrepresented anyone.”

According to the Indian Express, after the case was filed by Richa Chadha yesterday, the Bombay High Court was told that Payal Ghosh wanted to apologize and withdraw his statement.
It may be recalled that Pail Ghosh had mentioned the names of Richa Chadha, Huma Qureshi and Mahi Gul in an interview given to an Indian news channel on September 20 last month.
In the interview, Payal Ghosh had talked about the incident of being raped by filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and told how the filmmaker exploited him six years ago in 2014.
According to Payal Ghosh, Anurag Kashyap took him to a room in his house, where as soon as he entered, the filmmaker took off his clothes and tried to rape him.

The actress said that she told Anurag Kashyap that she was not ready for the job today but the filmmaker did not listen to her and they came closer and closer to her, but she kept protesting that she would not do anything.
According to Payal Ghosh, after his constant prayers, Anurag accepted Kashyap, but at the same time, he warned the actress to come mentally ready for the second time.

The actress said that she took permission from Anurag Kashyap by promising to be ready for the second time and never went to him again nor responded to his mobile messages.
The actress admitted that she did not have any evidence against Anurag Kashyap but was exploited by the filmmaker.
Payal Ghosh had claimed that Anurag Kashyap had told him while trying to target him that actors like Richa Chadha, Huma Qureshi and Mahi Gul were ready for a phone call.
Although initially Pail Ghosh did not accuse Anurag Kashyap of raping him, he later filed a rape case against the filmmaker, which is being investigated by the Mumbai Police.

In the case, Anurag Kashyap has also recorded a statement to the Mumbai police while providing the police with evidence which shows that he was not present in the country on the day of the incident but was involved in the shooting.
