The Chinese vaccine is found to be 86% effective in preventing corona

The experimental coronavirus vaccine of the Chinese company Sinofarm is up to 86% effective in preventing this disease.

This was stated by the UAE Department of Health in the preliminary results of the clinical trials of the last phase of the vaccine.

Detailed data from the trial have not yet been released by UAE authorities or Sinofarm.

Keep in mind that this is the same Chinese company whose vaccine is also being tested in Pakistan.

Synoform is testing 2 corona viruses and it is not clear which vaccine they were referring to in the statement issued by the UAE.

Trials of the third phase of the vaccine, developed by the Beijing Institute of Biological Products, a Synopharma company, began in July in the United Arab Emirates.

In September, the vaccine was approved for emergency use for specific groups, the first international approval of a vaccine made in China.

The UAE Department of Health said in a statement that the vaccine had succeeded in raising the levels of antibodies to the virus by 99 per cent and in preventing mild and severe cases of the disease 100 per cent.

According to the statement, no serious side effects were found in the volunteers during the trial.

The vaccine is being officially registered and 31,000 volunteers were recruited during the trial in the UAE, the statement said.

The statement did not say whether the trial showed any side effects, how many volunteers fell ill or how many were vaccinated and how many were given placebo.

The vaccine was developed using the inactivated corona virus, which is unable to replicate itself in human cells, but it stimulates the immune response.

This vaccine is given in 2 doses.

It is one of five Chinese vaccines that have entered the final stages of a trial.

Last month, Sinofarm chairman Liu Jingzhen said on Chinese social media site WeChat that the experimental corona vaccine had been used by about one million people under the emergency use program.

He said the people who received the vaccine did not report any serious side effects.

He said the vaccine was used by Chinese construction workers, diplomats and students who traveled to more than 150 countries around the world during the epidemic and no one was diagnosed with the code.

He said on November 6 that 56,000 people using emergency vaccines had gone abroad.
