Manama: Bahrain has also approved the emergency use of the corona vaccine, a joint venture between US pharmaceutical company Pfizer and German technology company Biotech.
According to the World News Agency, Bahrain has become the second country after the United Kingdom to allow the use of Pfizer and Biotech corona vaccines on patients on an emergency basis.
A statement from Bahrain’s National Health Regulatory Authority (NRA) said that the US pharmaceutical company Pfizer’s Corona vaccine had been approved for use in high-risk patients with severe symptoms on an emergency basis.

Despite Bahrain’s approval of the Pfizer corona vaccine, it is not yet clear how many vaccines will be purchased and when vaccination will begin.
Bahrain is a hotter country than the United Kingdom, but to maintain the quality of the Pfizer vaccine, the vaccine must be kept at a temperature of minus 70 degrees Celsius from export to delivery to patients.
Bahrain may have difficulty maintaining the minus 70 degrees Celsius required for the vaccine, where temperatures typically hover around 40 degrees Celsius, but officials say the company has developed special packaging.
