Scientists around the world are trying to find an effective cure for the new corona virus disease Code 19, but one schoolgirl seems to have left everyone behind.
Anika Sheraborlo, a 14-year-old student from the US state of Texas, won the 3M Young Scientist Challenge and a 25,000 prize.
He was given the award for discovering a possible cure for code 19.
They achieved this by discovering a molecule that binds to the spike protein of the new corona virus.

“Over the last two days, I’ve seen a lot of media coverage of my project, which revolves around the corona virus and reflects our hope for an end to this epidemic,” the student told CNN. Like, I want normal life to return as soon as possible.
Anika submitted her project when she was still in 8th grade, but the student’s goal at the time was not to discover a cure for code 19.
Initially, she wanted to use this method to identify a compound that could bind to the influenza virus.
“After so much research on the discovery of infectious diseases, viruses and drugs, it was amazing to think that I was actually living in such a situation,” she said.
“In a very short time, given the spread of the COD 19 epidemic and its effects on the world, I, with the help of my elders, targeted the SARS CoV2 virus instead of influenza,” said Anika.
The student said she was impressed by the discovery of a possible cure for the 1918 flu pandemic and found that in the United States alone, many people die from the flu each year, even though vaccinations are given every year. Medications are also commonly available.
Dr. Sandy Moss, a judge at the 3M Young Scientist Challenge, said: “Anika used her curiosity and mind and her work was organized with a lot of databases analyzed. Wants to use it so that we can all have hope.

Anika says it is an honor to win the award and the title of Top Young Scientist, but her work is not over.
According to the student, her next goal is to work with scientists and researchers to control the spread of epidemics and deaths by turning her discovered method into a real cure.
