Pakistan Army Shot down Indian quadcopter (drone) entering Pakistani border near Line of Control (LoC)
According to Pakistan Army Department of Public Relations ISPR, the spy drone was dropped in the sinking sector with the LoC.
An ISPR statement said that during this provocation, Indian quadcopters had penetrated up to 600 meters within Pakistani boundaries for espionage.

The ISPR said that such unnecessary actions by the Indian government violate the rules and the air agreement between the two countries.
At the same time, the Department of Public Relations also said that the move was a violation of the 2003 ceasefire agreement by the Indian Army.
It may be recalled that last year, the Pak army had shot down 3 drones of India, in which the first quadcopter was dropped on the first day of the year, on January 1, in the Bagh sector.
Only a day later, India again violated Pakistani boundaries, which the Pakistani military had failed, killing a spy drone in the Satwal sector.
In addition, there was a tense and air clash between Pakistan and India after the Pulwama incident, after which a few days later an Indian spy drone hit the Pakistani border 150 meters into the Chakri sector of the LoC.

Earlier on March 6, 2018, in the Chari Kot sector of LoC, the Pak army shot down an Indian spy quadcopter.
In October 2017, the Pak army also killed an Indian drone spying in the Chakri sector near LoC.
In November 2016, the Indian drone landed within 60 meters of the Pakistani border on the Line of Control, which was targeted by the Pak Army Awareness Post.
