Dow University experts discover resistant genetic changes in Corona pathway

Experts at the Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) have identified two naturally occurring mutations in the human gene that may be resistant to the nasal corona virus and those changes in the human gene Corona virus is found in their body and can be ineffective.

According the report publish in Dawn News The above research has recently been published in the International Journal of Virology, Journal of Medical Virology.

Experts say recent research will help determine the medical resources for the global outbreak of the Corona virus.

Experts at the University of Dow say test samples taken during the screening can also detect the presence of these genetic variants.

Experts say that the presence of either or both of these mutations will reduce the likelihood of worsening the symptoms of the corona virus.

This way a corona-infected person will only need quarantine in one of the rooms in the house, while the corona-infected person may also need a hospital isolation ward and a ventilator.

A team of students and teachers, led by Dr. Mushtaq Hussain, Vice Principal of the Dow College of Biotechnology, did a data mining of a thousand human genomes to find out what happened in a gene called ACET2 Two variants may be resistant to the path of S. inespi and three to nine g corona.

Experts say that the corus that causes corona is associated with ACOD2 (Angio-tensin converting enzyme 2) in the early stages of infection.

Researchers have predicted, through Xenso-structural and docking techniques, that the presence of two mutations naturally occurring in ACE2 may be resistant to the pathogenesis of the novel corona virus.

When do Cod 19 victims transmit this virus?

This research will help to determine its potential for diagnosis and treatment, as well as to better determine current medical resources.

Dr. Mushtaq Hussain, head of the research team, said that the human genomes that were done in data mining included China, Latin America and some European countries that were most affected by the Corona virus.

It is important to note here that the rate of variation in ACE2 was significantly lower in the above analysis.

The Dow University research team included Dr Nusrat Jaben, Fauzia Raza, Sania Shabbir, Ayesha Ashraf Baig, Anusha Amanullah and Bisma Aziz.
