Pak Suzuki also announced a reduction in vehicle prices

Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited has announced a reduction in the prices of various models from Rs 75,000 to Rs 1,99,000, with effect from August 16, citing the improvement in the value of the rupee against the dollar.

The company has closed advance bookings for the vehicles from July 1, the Alto VX, VXR and AGS models are now priced at Rs 1,699,000, Rs 1,976,000 and Rs 2,223,000 respectively.

Wagon VXR, VXL and AGS models will now be priced at Rs 24 lakh 21 thousand, Rs 25 lakh 64 thousand and Rs 28 lakh 2 thousand respectively, while Cults VXR, VXL and AGS models will now be priced at Rs. Available at 27 lakh 54 thousand, 3 million 24 thousand and 32 lakh 34 thousand.

The new price of Swift GL, MT, CVT, GLX CVT is Rs 3180,000, Rs 3420,000 and Rs 3760,000 respectively, while Ravi, Ravi deckless, Bolan Van and Bolan The cargo prices are 14 lakh 24 thousand, 13 lakh 49 thousand, 15 lakh and 14 lakh 87 thousand.

The price cut comes as a surprise as the company had hiked prices by Rs 661,000 from Rs 314,000 in the first week of August, citing the depreciation of the rupee against the dollar.

Pak Suzuki has decided to temporarily shut down its car production plant from August 18 to 19 due to shortage of equipment, however the company said the motorcycle plant will remain operational.

It should be noted that earlier Indus Motors also announced a significant reduction in the price of vehicles.

In the month of July, after a big increase in the price from 7 lakh 60 thousand to 31 lakh 60 thousand rupees, Indus Motor Company reduced the prices of vehicles from 2 lakh 60 thousand to 11 lakh 40 thousand rupees.

Indus Motors said that the prices of all models of Toyota Corolla are being reduced from Rs.330,000 to Rs.440,000.

Apart from this, the price of different models of Toyota Yaris has also been reduced from Rs 2 lakh 60 thousand to Rs 3 lakh 10 thousand, while the prices of Toyota Hilux Rio and Fortuner have been reduced from Rs 6 lakh 50 thousand to Rs 8 lakh 20 thousand respectively. And it was reduced from 9 lakh 10 thousand rupees to 11 lakh 40 thousand rupees.
