Uttar Pradesh: In India, two brides arrived with their parents and guests to pick up a bride, while the bride preferred to go with the other groom.
According to Indian media, the wedding of a bride named Mohani in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, was arranged by her parents with a young man named Bablu and on the day of her departure, Bablu arrived with her parents and relatives. Mohani’s parents gave a warm welcome to Barat.
However, a strange situation arose when another bridegroom Ajit arrived with his parents and guests to pick up the bride and Mohani left with her favorite Ajit instead of her parents’ favorite Bablu.
Locals say Mohani was in love with a boy named Ajit but her parents refused to give her a relationship and promised to give Bablu their daughter’s hand without the girl’s consent.
Bablu and his entourage protested loudly against Mohani’s departure with another groom and cursed Mohani’s parents and the matter reached the police.
Police arrested Mohani and Bablu’s parents and later arrested another groom, Ajit.
