Pennsylvania: A swing in an American amusement park stopped during a ride due to a technical glitch that caused the riders to hang upside down in the air.
There have been several instances of swings stopping in the past due to a technical glitch in the air. However, this time the situation was different from previous cases because the swing in the air was not upright but upside down.
A video posted on the American media portal shows an Aero 360 swing hanging upside down in the air.
The incident took place at Kennywood Park in West Miffin, Pennsylvania, USA. The riders were stuck in the swing for a while but after a while they were taken off safely.
According to the amusement park management, the maintenance staff rushed to deal with the matter.
Park said crews brought the Aero 360 back to its designated stationary position and then pulled the riders out of the swing.
The technical glitch with the swing is not yet known.
