KARACHI: Prime Minister Imran Khan has appointed renowned singer Ali Zafar as ambassador of “Namal Knowledge City”.
Ali Zafar, a well-known singer-songwriter of Pakistan Showbiz Industry, said on social networking site Twitter that Prime Minister Imran Khan had designed him for Pakistan’s first city “Namal Knowledge City” Jotoni Ashai and his honorable Prime Minister Imran had dreamed of appointing him as its ambassador.

Ali Zafar wrote that knowledge is key to the development of any country and its people.

Ali Zafar further said on his Instagram account that it is very satisfying and thrilling for me that Dr. Kanwal Amin and Prof. Muhammad Zafarullah, who have dedicated their lives as educators and encouraged us to follow the same path, have the opportunity. As an ambassador, he was given the opportunity to play his part in building the first city of its kind, the Namal Knowledge City.
