Multan Sultans, who lost to Karachi Kings in the Super Over of PSL 5 qualifiers, will get their second chance to reach the final in the Eliminator Two match against Lahore Qalandars on Sunday. Both the teams have so far won 3, 3 matches in mutual matches. The maximum total of Multan Sultans was 200 while that of Lahore Qalandars was 204. The first match in PSL 5 league stage was won by Multan Sultans and the second by Lahore Qalandars.

Sultans captain Shaun Masood will have the services of Zeeshan Ashraf and Adam Laith in the top order. In the middle order, there are aggressive batsmen like Riley Russo, Ravi Bopara and Khushdal Shah. Match winners like Shahid Afridi are also available for the team. Battery includes veteran Sohail Tanveer and talented Mohammad Ilyas. Mohammad Irfan did not look in good form in the qualifiers but has the potential to take advantage of his longevity. A star spinner like Imran Tahir is also in the team.

On the other hand, Lahore Qalandars, who defeated Peshawar Zalmi in the first eliminator, managed to maintain their excellent performance at the end of the league stage. For the knockout match, captain Sohail Akhtar is available with aggressive openers Fakhruzzaman and Tamim Iqbal, Mohammad Hafeez If one of Ben Dunk, David Visa and Samat Patel’s bat is also lost, it will be enough to turn the tide of the match. I expect interesting competition.
