The immune system of people infected with code 19 is ready for next time, research

Scientists have discovered the strongest evidence so far that people who recover from code 19 relapse with the disease can have a faster and more efficient immune system.

This was revealed in a medical study conducted in the United States.

The Rockefeller University study found that the body’s immune system not only remembers the novice corona virus but also improves the quality of protective antibodies to fight the disease after recovery. The bar also prepares for a more efficient and lightning strike against the virus.

“This is very good news,” said Michael Nosenzog, head of the molecular immunology department at Rockefeller University. “In most cases, patients are expected to develop a strong antibody response and resistance to the disease.”

It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post, but Michael Nosenzog said it could provide some protection for years.

The discovery also explains why so many cases of coronavirus infection have been reported so far.

When a person becomes infected with the corona virus, the immune system launches a multi-pronged attack, one of which is by T cells, which find and destroy the infected cells to prevent the virus from spreading. ۔

The second line of defense is the B cells, which secrete antibodies into the bloodstream, which attract the virus and prevent it from invading cells.

When the disease is over, the immune system is paralyzed, but it remembers the virus from the memory left in the T cells and B cells, so when the virus returns, the immediate reaction is activated.

Numerous research reports have shown that antibody rates in most coronavirus patients drop by a few months, leading to fears that people may soon lose their immunity to it.

The new study recruited 87 patients with the corona virus and confirmed that antibody levels were low.

He said that the level of antibodies could be reduced by 20% in 5 months but he did not think that the reduction was significant.

When the researchers analyzed the memory of the immune system, they found that antibodies made from the memory of B cells became more effective six months after the disease.

These antibodies can be activated immediately after you get sick again, in a few days.

The researchers said that small amounts of the corona virus, or inactivated viral particles, are active in patients’ intestines and seem to help the immune system maintain its memory.

These remnants of the virus are not currently considered harmful.

The researchers said that people who suffer from COD retain B-cell memory after 6 months with antibodies that work effectively to neutralize the virus.

“We don’t know how long this protection will last, but it’s likely to be quite long, years,” he added.

This is a preliminary study and its results have not yet been published in any medical journal.

Charles Bingham, a professor of immunology at Imperial College London, who was not part of the study, said: “This work suggests that there is a strong possibility that if we get sick again, we will be more effective against the virus.” The reaction moves.

He added that it remains to be seen how much protection it provides, but it is possible that it would have some beneficial effect.

“This is good news for everyone who has been infected with the corona virus. The immune system is like an army that stops when the threat is over, but future attacks,” said Arnie Akbar, an immunology professor at London College University.
