It has been revealed that the former female manager of Shashant Singh Rajput, who allegedly committed suicide due to depression on June 14 this year, was ‘gang-raped’.
An eyewitness told a local news site that Shashant Singh’s former manager, Desha Salin, had been “gang-raped” before committing suicide, showbiz website Filmbeat reported.
According to the report, the eyewitness claimed that before committing suicide, Desha Salin had gone to a party in Joho area of Mumbai, in which there were only 6 men besides him and the eyewitness was also one of the 6 men.
According to an eyewitness, four men present in the party ‘gang raped’ Desha Salin by singing loudly.
In this regard, Orissa Byte said that an eyewitness claimed that one of the four gang rapists was also a close friend of Desha Salin.
On the other hand, the parents of Desha Salin have denied the allegations and appealed to the Indian media not to spread false rumors about their suicidal daughter.
The Hindustan Times reported that Desha Salin’s father and mother, while talking to India Today, denied the allegations of ‘gang rape’ with their daughter.
Desha Salin’s parents said that Mumbai police was investigating their daughter’s suicide and so far the investigation had not revealed that their daughter had been gang-raped.
Desha Salin’s parents said that the Mumbai police had shown them all the evidence and proof, which did not prove that their daughter was pregnant.
Disha Salin’s parents appealed to the Indian media not to spread fabricated news about their daughter and to respect her personal life.
On the other hand, the Times of India in a report said that the police also denied the reports that it was claimed that the body of Desha Salin was found naked.
According to the report, news had been going viral on social media for a few days that Desha Salin’s body had been found naked and there were marks of injuries on her limbs, however, the police termed such reports as false.
Police said Desha Salin’s body was not found naked.
It may be recalled that Desha Salin had committed suicide on June 8, just a few days before Shant Singh.
Shashant Singh also committed suicide on June 14, six days after Desha Salin’s suicide.
Desha Salin was Shashant Singh’s manager for many years and she also had relationships with other Bollywood personalities.
After Desha Salin’s suicide, Mumbai police launched an investigation into her accidental death, but so far police have not had much success.
