STOCKHOLM: A new study in Sweden has found that nitric oxide, a gas that softens veins and improves blood flow, is also hostile to the novel Corona virus, which is responsible for the global epidemic of Covid 19. This is because it prevents the virus from spreading.

It should be noted that the effectiveness of nitric oxide gas in reducing the effects of corona virus and saving the lives of patients has already come to the fore.
However, the study, conducted at Uppsala University, Sweden, was about improving the ability of the lungs to absorb oxygen and reducing the severity of the corona virus by softening the veins.
A new study published in the latest issue of the research journal Redox Biology is the latest in a series that shows that nitric oxide gas prevents the corona virus from replicating itself. As a result, coronavirus disease (Covid 19) is less severe.
Although the research was performed on human cells infected with corona virus in test tubes, since nitric oxide gas is already being used for various medical purposes, no further lengthy surgery is required.
Remember that the “corona virus” is actually the name of a group of viruses that include about 17 viruses, including the viruses that cause SARS and MERS.
A similar study, conducted in 2005, found nitric oxide gas to be effective in counteracting the effects of SARS-CoV.
