India captain Virat Kohli is expected to have his first child in January 2021, for which he has been given a three-match leave from the four-match Test series against Australia.
According to AFP, 32-year-old Virat Kohli and his wife and famous Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma are expecting their first child in January and the captain has been given a special leave on the occasion.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the return of injured batsman Rohit Sharma to the squad and the Indian team will leave for Australia this week.
The BCCI said in a statement that Kohli had informed him in October and that he would return to Adelaide after the scheduled test.
The statement said that “the captain of the Indian team has been given paternal leave” and the board also confirmed the dates of return.
According to a BCCI statement, the world number one batsman in ODI cricket will lead the Indian team in the ODI and T20 series in November and December.

Virat Kohli will also play the first Test of the series between the two teams which will start on December 17 and will be day and night.
The second Test between Australia and India starts in Melbourne on December 26, followed by the third and fourth Tests in Sydney and Brisbane due to the Corona Crisis.
On the other hand, Rohit Sharma, who was ruled out due to hamstring in the Indian Premier League (IPL), will also join the team late while he will be part of the team against Delhi Capitals in the league final.
The BCCI said a medical team was looking at 33-year-old Rohit Sharma and would decide whether he should be part of the ODI and T20 series before the Test against Australia.
Veteran Indian fast bowler Ishant Sharma has been included in the Test squad after recovering from an injury. He was ruled out of the opening matches of the IPL.
It may be recalled that the Indian team had won the series against Australia for the first time in the last tour and will now leave for Australia again on November 12.

The Indian team will be quarantined for two weeks before the first ODI on November 27 in Sydney.
