It is not necessary for a man to ‘rape’ after watching something on TV or mobile, Aamna Elias

Actress and model Aamna Ilyas has been campaigning for some time now against whitening creams or the promotion of fair-skinned women, but she is also known for speaking openly on important issues of society.

In a recent interview, she categorically rejected the notion that actresses’ semi-nude dresses and women’s bold style increase the incidence of ‘rape’.

According to Aamna Elias, men who ‘rape’ are mentally ill, they don’t necessarily ‘rape’ after watching something on TV or mobile phone.

In an interview with Voice of America (VOA Urdu), Aamna Elias said that most people comment on the social media posts of actresses, including her, that they are spreading obscenity in the country. She is attracted to ‘rape’.

According to Amna Elias, after such comments, she thinks about how the actresses are spreading obscenity and then she thinks that maybe she is wearing jeans, t-shirt, skirt, saree and other bold and semi-nude clothes, but at the same time The question that arises in their minds is whether such a dress of women provokes the rapists?

The actress apologized and said that the Pakistani people are ignorant, they do not think that the person who ‘rapes’ is mentally ill.

The actress argued that men who ‘rape’ do not have to be ready for the crime by watching something on TV or on their mobile phones.

She said that today is the age of internet, even if Pakistani actresses are stopped from work and sent home, people will still watch Bollywood and Hollywood content.

According to Aamna Elias, ‘rape’ used to happen even when there was no TV.

In response to a question, the actress said that she would not take responsibility for the fact that she is followed by many people and that she lived according to restrictions to keep them happy.

In the interview, Aamna Ilyas also spoke openly about the color of Sanoli and said that when she was young she was a bit fair but as she got older, her mother and aunt started talking about why she was Sanoli.

The actress also admitted that during some photoshoots in the past, her fair complexion was whitened with artificial make-up, which she also expressed anger over.

According to the actress, she shares her photos on social media without editing them, however, due to the use of some lights while taking some photos, her color looks a bit bright.

The actress also said that in Pakistani dramas, characters of wheatish or sanoli color do not appear, usually in the drama, the color of mother-in-law, daughter-in-law and daughter is shown as the same blonde.
