Is this one of the reasons for the sudden decline in corona cases in Pakistan?

There has been a significant drop in the number of cases of the new Corona virus in Pakistan since July, and experts around the world have been surprised by the success.

The obvious reasons for the rapid decline in the Corona virus epidemic will soon be known, but the government sees it as the result of smart or micro-lockdown and other precautionary measures.

But one possible reason could be the effects of the weather, according to a new medical study, which found that high humidity in the air could reduce the spread of the virus.

Humidity levels in Pakistan have risen significantly since July due to the monsoon season, but the extent to which this view is correct will be decided in the near future.

Diseases caused by viruses such as influenza or flu are more common in certain seasons, while the common cold is more common in winter, and scientists are trying to determine if the novice coronavirus can spread more easily in certain seasons. Or not.

A joint study by the University of Sydney in Australia and the Fudan University School of Public Health in China responded that low humidity increased the risk of the new corona virus spreading.

Particles from the mouth or nose of infected people play an important role in the spread of code.

A separate study from the two universities in late May found a link between low air humidity in the early stages of the COD 19 epidemic and a high prevalence of cases at the community level.

Researchers have now gone into more detail to confirm this risk or relationship, explaining how temperature plays a role in the spread of the corona virus and what is the difference between high and low humidity.

The study, published in the medical journal Transboundaries and Emerging Diseases, found that the rate of corona virus cases in Sydney increased when air was dry and humidity levels dropped.

The researchers said that the second study adds to the evidence that air humidity is a key factor in the spread of code 19.

The term dry climate is used for low humidity, and the researchers discovered that every one percent decrease in air humidity could result in a 7 to 8 percent increase in the number of cases.

In contrast, a 10% reduction in air humidity could double the rate of code 19 cases.

The researchers said that the dry air seems to be conducive to the spread of code 19 and given the effect of the weather, the perception is strong that it could take the form of seasonal disease in the future.

Researchers say that there are biological factors that make moisture important for the spread of such viruses.

“When the humidity level is low, the air dries up and the particle volume decreases. When you sneeze and cough, these tiny particles stay in the air for a long time, making other people sick,” he said. The risk of

In contrast, when the humidity in the air is high, these particles are large and heavy and roar very quickly on the surface.

He also called for further research to see to what extent the decrease in air humidity in autumn or winter affects the rate of cod 19 cases.

The researchers also found that whether there was a lockdown or not, the amount of moisture in the air affected the rate of cases.

But they did not find any difference between cases of the new corona virus and rainfall, temperature or wind speed.

“During the study, it was autumn in Australia and we wanted to see the relationship between weather and code 19 in Australia at the end of summer and the beginning of autumn,” the researchers said.

A similar study by Yale University in April found similar results.

The study, published in the journal Annual Review of Virology, found that the relationship between the spread of the virus and the weather is being examined in various research reports, and the two main factors that are important are environmental parameters and changes in human behavior.

Different temperatures and humidity affect the spread and stability of viruses, for example a new analysis suggests that cold dry air may play a role in the spread of influenza in winter.

The study described how cold and dry air could potentially affect the spread of the new corona virus.

He said that when cold, dry air enters the walls and then heats up, the humidity inside the house is reduced to 20%, which reduces the travel of viral particles in the air.

He added that cells outside the body’s respiratory tract do not function well in a dry environment, they do not excrete viral particles as they do in other situations.

However, he added that too much moisture in the open also contributes to the spread of the virus, for example, particles in the air in the tropics can survive longer.

The researchers said that most homes and buildings in these areas have poor ventilation systems, while people live very close by, which increases the risk of spreading the virus as a result of high humidity.

He stressed that people can spread the virus at any time of the year by touching each other and touching contaminated surfaces.
