Is eating peanuts daily good for health?

Peanuts are commonly used in cold weather and this habit can be helpful in preventing various diseases.

This was revealed in a medical study conducted in the United States.

Research from the Harvard TH Chen School of Public Health found that eating about 60 grams of peanuts a day for 12 weeks could potentially help reverse metabolic syndrome.

If you don’t know, then know that metabolic syndrome is usually a combination of 5 diseases and at least three elements are seen in the sufferers, ie bloating, a type of fat in the blood, triglycerides, considered good for health. Low HDL cholesterol levels, high blood pressure and high blood sugar.

Together they increase the risk of diseases such as heart disease and diabetes and can be fatal. Each of these five has a negative effect on the musculoskeletal system and together they can be devastating.

Research published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that people who ate peanuts were twice as likely to reverse the metabolic syndrome as those in the dietary control group.

This is the first study of its kind to examine the effects of eating peanuts on a condition.

People with metabolic syndrome have a 5 times higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes and a 2 times higher risk of developing coronary heart disease.

The study, which ran from October 2017 to January 2018, included 224 people, some with metabolic syndrome and others at risk.

The study also found that eating about 60 grams of peanuts for 12 weeks did not increase body weight.

Peanuts contain 170 grams of calories and 14 grams of vegetable protein and 19 vitamins and minerals.

Earlier research reports had suggested that eating this nut reduces the risk of heart disease and diabetes.

Research published in the journal Current Atherosclerosis Reports in 2018 found that people who are accustomed to eating peanuts have a lower risk of dying from coronary heart disease.

Another study published in the American Journal of the American Medical Association found that peanut butter reduced the risk of type 2 diabetes in women by 21%.
