International cricket will be restored in the country by 2023, PCB chairman

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ehsan Mani has said that we have set a target for revival of international cricket in the country. International cricket will be revived in the country in 2023.

Chairman PCB said that former cricket board officials used to make claims but we have restored Pakistan Super League as well as international cricket in the country. We have satisfied the Standing Committees of the National Assembly and the Senate and all my privileges are available on the Board’s website.

Ehsan Mani said that no matter what the situation is, our job is to revive cricket, India has always played a negative role, we have presented our position before the International Cricket Council in a strong manner and we have succeeded on every platform. Regions that have gone to court against the Board or are being questioned by the Board about which the Board has concerns, some of the Regents have deposited the money received from the Board into their personal accounts as per the law. It is a crime. Those involved in this crime will be held accountable.

Chairman PCB said that if someone has committed corruption, it is a crime to seek an answer from him, the affairs of the board will be run in a transparent manner. Responding to a question, he said that the number of Corona cases is increasing day by day all over the world and especially in India. India has shifted the IPL to Dubai and Sharjah. We have informed the International Cricket Board about this.
