Apparently in a weight loss cycle, 27-year-old Bollywood actress Mashti Mukherjee, who was on a ‘ketogenic diet’, died of kidney failure.
Mashti Mukherjee started her career in 2012 with Life Ki To Lag Gayi, after which she appeared in other Hindi films including Kanchi, Great Grand Masti, Begum and Mani Karnika.
Mashti Mukherjee has also acted in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kanda language films.
Mashti Mukherjee hailed from the southern part of India and was very popular in the southern film industry, including Bollywood.
Mashti Mukherjee has acted mostly in bold comedy films while he has also done bold performances in several item songs.
Mashti Mukherjee was in the media spotlight when he was arrested by the police in 2014 along with his brother and father on charges of prostitution and possession of pornographic videos.
Mashti Mukherjee was accused in 2014 of being involved in prostitution along with other women, while he was also accused of spreading pornography and his brother and father were also sent to jail.
However, a few months later, the actress’s brother and father were arrested and they were declared clear in the said cases.

Mashti Mukherjee had some problems due to being overweight and there are reports that she has been on a ‘ketogenic diet’ for the last few months and that is why her kidneys have failed.
The Times of India reported that Mukherjee died of kidney failure at a private hospital in Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka state.
The report said that the actress had been on a ‘ketogenic diet’ for a few months and the biggest cause of her kidney failure was her diet.
The Indian Express, quoting the actress’ family, confirmed that the actress had been on a ‘ketogenic diet’ for several months and this was the reason for her kidney failure.
The report said that in the last days of his life, Mashti Mukherjee suffered a lot.
