Huawei’s new flagship smartphone Mate 40 will be introduced this month.
Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business, announced on the Chinese social media site Weibo that the Mate 40 series of phones will be introduced on October 22.
He also shared a teaser clip with the event post showing the event poster with the eye.

Regarding the phones in this series, nothing has been said that the clip indicates that attention has been paid to telephoto technology.

However, some leaks have already surfaced regarding the Mate 40 series phones.
According to the MIIT certification, Huawei will be offering three models, the Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro Plus.
According to a leak, the Mate 40 Pro will feature a dual selfie camera in a punch hole design.
The company is expected to introduce the Karen 9000 processor in this series of phones, which will be the first 5nm chip based on a 5G modem.

However, this will be the last, as US sanctions have made it difficult for Huawei to acquire the technology needed to manufacture the processor.
A report said that the new flagship phone could be delayed until next year due to lower sales and limited processor production.
Huawei will be offering a 108-megapixel main camera with a 9P lens with a Periscope module with 5x optical zoom camera.
