Huawei introduced its Harmony operating system in August 2019, but at the time the Chinese company said it would prefer the Google platform.
It is also claimed that Harmony OS 2.0 will be introduced at the company’s developer conference on September 10 this year.
But now there are leaks that suggest that Huawei may introduce the first phone equipped with the operating system in 2021.

In fact, it is said that the first smartwatch based on Harmony OS could be introduced by the end of this year.
In May 2019, the United States blacklisted Huawei and its subsidiaries, barring them from providing technology to local companies.
However, since May 2019, temporary licenses have been issued to Huawei and its US partners so that they can continue their work.
The duration of these temporary licenses has been extended several times, but the license has expired since August 13 and has not been extended further.

Huawei phones have been without Google services and apps since May 2019, while the Android operating system is being used but is available to the company as it is open source.
After the deprivation of Google services, Huawei and Honor phones introduced Huawei mobile services through which software updates are provided to the new device.
Last year, Vincent Yang, Huawei’s senior vice president, told the media in New York that “we want to maintain a standard and ecosystem. Harmony will be used only when the company is stopped from using Android.” ۔
