After the revelations and confessions of actress Riya Chakraborty, Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Shardha Kapoor were arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) of India in the investigation into the death of Sshant Singh Rajput I appeared and recorded my statements.
Riya Chakraborty was arrested on September 8 on charges of arranging drugs for Shashant Singh Rajput, who committed suicide in June this year.
The Narcotics Bureau had also obtained a remand from the court after the arrest of Riya Chakraborty and his remand has been extended till October 6.
After the arrest of Riya Chakraborty, it was reported that the actress had told the Narcotics Bureau about the drug use of at least 28 Bollywood personalities, including Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan, actress Rakul Preet Singh and designer. Simon Khambata’s name was also included.
After which the NCB had summoned Rakul Preet Singh, Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Shardha Kapoor in which Rakul Preet Singh 25 while the other three actresses appeared on September 26.
According to sources, the NCB issued summons to the actresses after receiving some WhatsApp chats which indicated hints of drug related conversations.
Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash’s phone also received some WhatsApp messages which revealed a conversation between ‘D’ and ‘K’ about illicit drugs.
The NCB had included Deepika Padukone’s name in the probe after recording her alleged chats, in which she was asking her manager Karishma Prakash to bring hashish.

Bollywood’s front-runners came to the fore when the NCB questioned Shashant Singh’s talent manager Jaya Saha.
At the same time, the NCB had a discussion with Riya Chakraborty in Jaya Saha’s chats about CBDIL (cannabidiol), after which Jaya Saha and actress Shardha Kapoor also discussed about CBDIL Chat was recorded.

According to the Hindustan Times, a police official said Deepika Padukone arrived at the NCB Guest House in Colaba, south of Mumbai, at 9.50 am and left around 6.50 pm, three hours later.
According to the report, Press Trust of India, quoting sources, said that the actress’ manager Karishma Prakash first and then Deepika Padukone came out of the guest house and the two returned in separate vehicles.
Actress Shardha Kapoor arrived at the NCB zonal office around 12 noon and was also interrogated for about five hours in connection with the drug case related to the death of Shant Singh Rajput.

Sara Ali Khan, on the other hand, arrived at the NCB zonal office at around 1pm and returned after a four-hour interrogation.
A five-member NCB panel interrogated Deepika Padukone and barred her from using the phone during questioning.
According to reports, Deepika, who is under investigation with her manager Karishma Prakash in a case related to drug nexus in Bollywood, has admitted to having drug related talks in 2017.

According to NCB officials, Deepika and her manager may be recalled as they were not satisfied with their answers.
