MOSCOW: An agreement has been reached between Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia to settle the disputed territory of Nagorno-Karabakh on a permanent basis, under which Armenia will hand over all territories to Azerbaijan and Russian troops there as “peacekeepers”. Makers will be deployed.
According to the International News Agency, an agreement has been reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, which has resulted in the deaths of more than 2,000 people and heavy financial losses in the past six weeks.

In this regard, Armenian Prime Minister Nicole Pishinyan wrote in an emotional post on Facebook about the agreement being reached and its implementation from one o’clock at night that it is a pain that cannot be expressed.
The Armenian prime minister is saddened by his defeat, but said he had not given up. We have not won, but it will lead to our national unity and a new determination.
On the other hand, the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan called the agreement a historic achievement and said that the agreement reached by Armenia and the return of the occupied territories was in fact the result of a successful military operation by Azerbaijan.

Following the Armenian Prime Minister’s Facebook post, Azerbaijan and Russia also announced an agreement on Nagorno-Karabakh. The agreement comes after the Azerbaijani army recaptured the second largest city, Shushi, from the Armenian army.
Russian President Vladimir Putin also confirmed the agreement, saying that under the agreement, Armenia would withdraw its troops from Azerbaijan by December 1.
A statement from Russia’s Defense Ministry said that Russian troops would be stationed at the Nagorno-Karabakh border for five years.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, 1,960 troops have been sent to Nagorno-Karabakh, stationed on the Nagorno-Karabakh border and on the corridor between the two countries.

It should be noted that Nagorno-Karabakh is recognized internationally as part of Azerbaijan, but the majority here are Armenians who have the support of Russia. Armenian nationalists are waging an armed separatist movement in Nagorno-Karabakh.
