Rubya Chaudhry, the actress of the Pakistani short film ‘Bench’, which was screened at the Cannes International Independent Film Festival (CIFF) last October, has confirmed her divorce.
Actress Rubya Chaudhry shared a bold photo of herself on Instagram three days ago saying that she divorced her husband, musician Mikal Hassan, a few years after her marriage.
Rubya Chaudhry and Mikal Hassan surprised everyone by marrying quietly in August 2016.
Prior to the marriage, the couple had not given any indication that they were getting married.
However, now after 4 years of marriage, Rubya Chaudhry has confirmed that she has divorced musician Mikal Hassan, however, the musician did not issue any explanation in this regard.
Rubya Chaudhry shared her bold photo on Instagram, calling the divorce an opportunity to find another love and find new happiness.
She admitted in his post that his marriage did not last long due to some issues and he got divorced.
The actress wrote that divorce is always considered bad for women and women are ridiculed for saying that their lives are ruined after divorce.
Rubya Chaudhry wrote that although divorce is not a good thing and not every woman can bear this pain, but by talking about the issue of divorce, she wants to be the voice of women who cannot talk even if their marriages fail.
She wrote in his post that divorce should not always be considered as sorrow and death but it should be considered as a second chance to find new life, happiness and love.
“Life is found once, but opportunities to find love and happiness are found again and again,” she wrote.
At the end of his post, he wrote that some people will say, it is people’s job to say.
She was also criticized for posting a divorce confirmation by Rubya Chaudhry and for giving her a chance to find another love and happiness.
After the people’s criticism,Rubya Chaudhry clarified in another post on December 2 that her statement should not be taken wrong, she is not happy about the divorce and she is not celebrating the divorce party.
The actress explained that her not saying divorce is not a sad thing, it does not mean that she is holding a party to celebrate her divorce.
“Divorce is certainly not an easy decision or task, but it is not the end of life,” he wrote.
Rubya Chaudhry also thanked those who wished her well on her divorce and new life.
