Vivo has introduced its new operating system based on Android.
During the company’s annual developer conference in China, Vivo’s new operating system, Origin OS, was introduced, replacing the Fun Touch OS.
Compared to Art Touch OS, Origin OS has been completely redesigned, with widgets preferred and a grid-like layout.
These widgets can update themselves with notifications and are called nano alerts.

According to a statement from the company, “Origin OS is based on three pillars based on the demands of smartphone users: design, smoothness and convenience.”
The statement said that the well-known features in Origin OS have been introduced with great new designs to provide the best smartphone experience.
Compared to all other skin versions from other Android-based companies, Vivo’s Art Touch OS is very similar to Apple’s iOS, with the same notification design, color palette, and more.
The tiled design in Origin OS is very different from Apple’s iOS 14, which according to Wave is inspired by a Chinese version of Huarong Dao.
