Manama: The United States should also consult with Gulf countries before resuming a nuclear deal with Iran, Saudi Arabia.
According to the International News Agency, Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan said that if the new US administration signed a nuclear deal with Iran without consulting the Gulf countries, such a deal would not be sustainable and stable.

Speaking to the media on the sidelines of a security conference in Bahrain, the Saudi Foreign Minister added that any successful and lasting agreement can only be reached in consultation with regional partners. We expect the United States to consult with us before resuming the agreement with Iran.
Joe Biden, who won the US presidential election, said during his campaign that if Iran complied with the terms of the nuclear deal, the United States would become a member of the historic 2015 nuclear deal again.

It should be noted that the world powers, the United States, Britain, Russia, China, France and Germany, had reached an agreement in 2015 to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, from which President Trump unilaterally withdrew economic sanctions on Iran in 2018.
