Lahore: The schedule of New Zealand cricket team’s tour of Pakistan has been released. The visiting team will play two Tests, eight ODIs and five T20 international matches.

The schedule of New Zealand cricket team’s tour of Pakistan has been announced. In New Zealand’s tour of Pakistan, the visiting team will play two Tests, eight ODIs and five T20 International matches. The New Zealand team will come to Pakistan in two stages.

Both teams will play two Tests and three ODIs in the first phase, which will last from December 27 to January 15. Both the Test matches are part of the ICC World Test Championship.
The three one-day international matches played during this time are part of the ICC World Cup Super League. The first Test match of the series will be played in Karachi from December 27 to 31, while the second one will be played in Multan from January 4 to 8. Three ODIs will be played in Karachi on January 11, 13 and 15.

The visiting team will play 10 whiteball matches in Pakistan from April 13 to May 7 in the second phase. Both the teams will compete in five ODIs and five T20I matches.

The first four T20I matches of the second phase will be played in Karachi on April 13, 15, 16 and 19.

The fifth T20I and the first two ODIs will be played in Lahore on April 23, 26 and 28 respectively. The last three ODIs of the tour will be played in Rawalpindi on May 1, 4 and 7.

The Chief Executive of New Zealand Cricket, David Whyte, says that the Black Caps are eagerly awaiting the tour of Pakistan. Pakistan and New Zealand have a very old bilateral relationship in international cricket and there is a relationship of respect between the two boards.

The tour of Pakistan by Australia and England has made him well aware of the quality and challenge of the Pakistan cricket team in all three styles of cricket.

Director International PCB said in a statement that New Zealand is an excellent team and playing cricket against them at their home ground will benefit Pakistan a lot. Playing cricket against these big teams will help Pakistan secure top three position in all formats of cricket.
