Pakistan’s young fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi became the first Pakistani bowler to take 4 wickets off 4 balls in T20 cricket.

Shaheen Afridi performed this feat while representing Hampshire in county cricket.

In the match played in Southampton, Shaheen Afridi appeared in full form and kept the middle six batsmen helpless. He bowled 6 wickets for 19 runs.


Shaheen Afridi took the last 4 wickets on 4 consecutive balls and not only completed his hat trick but also became the first Pakistani and the seventh player overall to take the unique feat of taking 4 wickets off 4 balls in T20 cricket.

Pakistan’s Aamir Yameen has taken 4 wickets off 4 balls in T10 cricket while Pakistan’s Ali Gohar, Fazal Akbar, Kamran Hussain, Khalid Usman, Tabish Khan and Taj Wali have also taken 4 wickets off 4 balls in first class cricket.
