Former Indian cricket captain and head of the Indian Cricket Board Saro Ganguly has been shifted to hospital with a complaint of chest pain.
The head of the Board of Control for Cricket in India was shifted to Apollo Hospital in Kolkata on Wednesday afternoon on a complaint of chest pain.
His family said Ganguly was suffering from chest pains and was unwell and was rushed to a hospital.
According to reports, tests are underway at Ganguly’s hospital and are being monitored by cardiologists.
It is to be noted that this is the second time that Saro Ganguly has suffered a heart attack this month.
Earlier on January 2, he was also in pain after which he was rushed to the hospital.
Tests on the occasion revealed that the former Indian captain had 90 per cent blocked arteries in his heart, which led to his angioplasty.
After the closure of three arteries of the heart, Devi Shetty, a well-known cardiologist, went to Kolkata exclusively to treat Ganguly.
He was discharged from the hospital on January 7, but Dr. Shetty advised him to undergo the remaining angioplasty two weeks later.
