WASHINGTON: As President Trump’s term draws to a close, differences with his wife are mounting, and in a recent statement, Melania Trump slammed her husband’s supporters’ attack on the Congress building.
According to the international news agency, Melania Trump, the wife of US President Trump, has disappeared from the scene since the defeat of her husband. The last time Melania Trump tweeted was on January 2, but she hasn’t logged on to Instagram since Christmas.
The first lady did not even attend the self-proclaimed victory celebration by President Trump’s supporters, and after the same celebration, Trump supporters stormed and vandalized the US Congress building.
In a recent blog, Melania Trump broke the long silence and wrote that the attack on the parliament by the supporters of the President is a shameful act which has saddened my heart.
In her blog, Melania Trump also lashed out at the president’s supporters for making derogatory remarks and using foul language on social media.
News of Melania’s divorce following President Trump’s resignation was sharply criticized by supporters of the US president, who also objected to arriving at the White House by helicopter on New Year’s Eve and leaving without meeting supporters.
