Christchurch: Managed isolation of Pakistan’s squad in New Zealand has ended.
The managed isolation of the national squad in New Zealand is over. The 52 members of the squad have arrived at a local hotel in Christchurch.
The 52 members of the national cricket squad arrived at the local hotel in Christchurch after the end of the long-running isolation, leaving for Queenstown. A member of the squad will arrive in Queenstown today from Auckland. The other member will join the squad in Queenstown on Thursday.
Upon arrival in Queenstown, the national cricket team and Pakistan Shaheens squads will stay in separate hotels.
It should be noted that the T20 series between Pakistan and New Zealand will start from December 18. An 18-member squad of the national team has been announced for the T20 series with Babar Azam as the captain and Shadan Khan as the vice-captain. Babar Azam and Shadab Khan will lead the T20 team. Sarfraz Ahmed and Hussain Talat have returned.
