Washington: US President-elect Joe Biden has called it shameful not to acknowledge Donald Trump’s defeat.
Speaking to the media for the first time since winning the US presidential election, Biden rejected a statement denying Trump’s defeat and denying a smooth transfer of power, according to a foreign news agency.

The president-elect said the transfer of power without Trump’s cooperation would have no effect and no one could stop it.
