“We are investigating and taking steps to secure the account, but there is no connection between the hacking of the Indian Prime Minister’s account and the recent hacking of key accounts,” a Twitter spokesman said.

The hacker used Modi’s account to donate cryptocurrency ‘bitcoin’ to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, but the tweet was later deleted.
