Lahore: Before the start of the T20 series against New Zealand, Shaheen Shah Afridi made his mark by taking six wickets.
In the practice match played in Queenstown, Shaheen Shah Afridi proved his form and fitness by bowling brilliantly. The second practice match was won by Pakistan Green. Playing first, Pakistan Green scored 150 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Muhammad Hafeez and Babar Azam scored 48 and 40 runs respectively. Shaheen Shah Afridi took 6 wickets. Pakistan White was given a revised target of 175 runs in the allotted 20 overs.
Pakistan White could score only 160 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Zeeshan Malik (50), Haider Ali (45) and Abdullah Shafiq (35) were all out. Wahab Riaz, Usman Qadir and Emad Wasim took 2.2 wickets each.
