ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products.
According to the notification issued by the Finance Ministry, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 1.71 paise and the price of high speed diesel by Rs 1.79 paise.
Following the reduction in petroleum products, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 100.69 per liter and the price of high speed diesel at Rs 101.43 per liter. The price of kerosene will remain at Rs 65.29 per liter and light diesel at Rs 62.86 per liter.
The Ministry of Finance has issued a notification of new prices which will be effective from 12 noon tonight.
