First Test: Faheem 91, Rizwan 71,The national team was bowled out for 239 in the first innings

In the first Test match between Pakistan and New Zealand, the national team was bowled out for 239 in the first innings against New Zealand’s 431, giving the Kiwis a 192-run lead.

On the third day of the first Test match of the series being played at Mount Manganui, the Pakistani team resumed its first innings at 30 for one.

After which another wicket was taken with the addition of only 3 runs and this time Muhammad Abbas fell victim to the ball of Bolt.

After losing 3 wickets at 43, the team had high hopes from senior batsman Azhar Ali but he too could not show any significant performance and was dismissed in the 43rd over for 5 runs on a total score of 51.

Only one run later, Pakistan’s next wicket fell on a total score of 52 and Haris Sohail made only 3 runs and went to the pavilion.

In response to New Zealand’s 431, the team was in danger of being followed by a half-out in the first innings at 52, after which captain Mohammad Rizwan and Fawad Alam batted cautiously and advanced the team’s score. ۔

In the 60th over, when the team’s score slowly reached 80, Fawad Alam left the captain and was caught for 9 runs.

The next player to accompany Mohammad Rizwan was Faheem Ashraf and a 107-run partnership was formed between the two.

However, when the team’s total score reached 187, the set batsman captain Mohammad Rizwan was run out for 71 runs.

The next player to be dismissed was Yasir Shah who could score only 4 runs. After losing 8 wickets at 196, the next player to come out was Shaheen Shah Afridi, who led the score with Faheem Ashraf.

Faheem Ashraf not only batted responsibly but also managed to save the team from follow-on, but Shaheen Shah Afridi at the other end could not support him for long and lost the wicket with a total score of 235.

After him, Faheem Ashraf could add only 4 runs to the total score and was dismissed for 91 runs on a total score of 239.

In the first innings for the national team, Faheem Ashraf scored 91 and Mohammad Rizwan 71 runs while the rest of the team could not show any significant performance.

For the Kiwis, Kyle Jameson took three wickets while Tim Southee, Trent Bolt and Neil Wagner took two wickets each.

It should be noted that on the third day of the match, rain also disrupted the game and the game had to be stopped due to rain 2 to 3 times.

Earlier, on the second day of the match, the Kiwis scored 431 in their first innings thanks to 129 runs by Captain Williamson.

Ross Taylor (70), Watling (73) and Henry Nichols (56) were the standouts for the Kiwis, while Shaheen Shah Afridi took four wickets for Pakistan in the first innings.

Spinner Yasir Shah took 3 wickets while Mohammad Abbas, Fahim Ashraf and Naseem Shah took one wicket each.

When Pakistan started their first innings on the second day, Shaun Masood returned with just 10 runs on a total score of 28.
