CTD operation in Bahawalpur kills 4 alleged ISIS terrorists

LAHORE: Four alleged ISIS terrorists were killed during an operation by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Bahawalpur.

The CTD said it acted on a tip-off that four terrorists had been killed and three had escaped. The dead terrorists belong to the banned ISIS, which includes Amanullah, Abdul Jabbar, Rehman Ali and Aleem.

The terrorists targeted a minority shrine in Bahawalpur and grenades, SMG rifles and other weapons were recovered from their possession. Three accomplices of the terrorists managed to escape in the dark and raids are being carried out to arrest them and further investigations are underway.
