Corona virus outbreak feared in Europe

Copenhagen: The World Health Organization (WHO) says it is looking at corona virus outbreaks in Europe in the form of an “explosion” and has warned of dire conditions in the days leading up to rising mortality rates.

“We are seeing an explosion, just two days before the increase of one million cases in the European region,” said Hans Klug, the World Health Organization’s regional director for Europe.

Hans Klug was wearing a mask despite addressing the meeting via webcam and said the death toll could be seen rising slowly.

“It will be a difficult time, we need to be honest on this issue,” he said.

Despite the rapidly growing number of cases, Cluj warned that closing schools should be seen as a last resort, especially when we have no reason to say that the transfer of school cases is an important one. There are stimuli.

“We need to keep schools open until the end because we can’t afford to lose our race because of Code 19,” Klog said.

However, the regional director also said that maintaining the status quo was not an option and called for measures with proportional targets which could be extended.

“Governments need to keep in mind two things: coordination so that people can see if we change our policy, and predictability, so that people know we’re at this point,” Klog said. Can reach and it is about to happen.

“By wearing masks in public places and tightly controlling social gatherings, we can save 266,000 lives across the European region by February,” Klog said.

The World Health Organization covers 53 countries, including Europe, Russia and Central Asia, and a total of more than 12 million cases were reported in the region on Thursday, with 2 million cases reported in the last seven days.

On the one hand, there are difficulties in dealing with the Code-19 epidemic, and on the other hand, Klog said, “we can learn from this what we can do if more dangerous viruses come.”

“Imagine that cod was spread so easily like measles, or imagine that cod would be as deadly as Ebola, we need to seize this opportunity to better prepare for the future,” he added.
