ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he is working with China to develop corona vaccine which is in the third phase of trial.
Addressing the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in a video conference, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the SCO’s solidarity and support would be very useful in overcoming difficult times, while the SCO has achieved tremendous success in two decades.

He said that the Corona virus had badly affected the entire world economy, Pakistan had saved the poor from starvation through Smart Lockdown while developed countries should help the developing countries during Corona.

In his address, the Prime Minister also apprised of the progress of the ongoing work on Corona Vaccine and said that they are working with China to develop Corona Vaccine, which is in the third phase of trial, Pakistan-China Corona Virus Strategy.
“Much more needs to be done to mitigate economic repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The Prime Minister warned the world about the situation in Afghanistan and said that one should be wary of elements who do not want peace in Afghanistan.
“Pakistan’s positive contribution facilitated US-Taliban Peace Agreement.”
