The corona virus is on the rise in Pakistan and the country is witnessing a steady rise in positive cases and death rates.
The total number of people infected with the virus in the country is 349,992 out of which 320,849 have recovered which is more than 91% while the death toll has reached 7,055.
In the last 24 hours, 1088 cases of corona virus and 20 deaths were reported in the country while 784 patients recovered, bringing the number of active cases to 22,088.
It may be recalled that the first case of this global epidemic in the country was reported on February 26, 2020, after which the spread of the epidemic was accelerated till June.
However, the situation began to improve in July and continued until early September.
After that, from mid-September, the number of cases started increasing again and in October it increased further, which is also seen in November and the rate of positive cases in the country has exceeded 5%.

Punjab
In the last 24 hours, 390 new cases of corona have come to light in Punjab province, after which the number of victims here has increased to 108,221.
Nine patients died due to the epidemic in the province yesterday, bringing the death toll in Punjab to 2,438.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
In the last 24 hours, 189 more people were affected by the epidemic in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, bringing the total number of victims to 41,258.
In addition, 8 more patients died, bringing the total number of deaths to 1302.
Balochistan
In the last 24 hours, 31 cases came to light in the province bringing the total number of cases to 16,226.
The death toll from the corona virus in Balochistan has not increased in the last 24 hours and the death toll remains at 154.
Islamabad
According to official figures, 333 more cases of the epidemic were confirmed in the capital Islamabad, bringing the total number of affected people to 22,765.
Another 1 patient died from corona in the capital, bringing the death toll to 248.
Azad Kashmir
According to the official website of Corona, 130 new cases of Corona were confirmed in Azad Kashmir after which the number of victims in the valley rose to 5,041.

Two more patients died of the virus in Azad Kashmir, bringing the death toll to 116.
Gilgit-Baltistan
In Gilgit-Baltistan, 15 new epidemics were reported, bringing the total number of affected people to 4,409.
There was no increase in deaths in the valley and the death toll remained at 93.
Healthy people
Patients infected with the corona virus continue to recover in Pakistan and a further 784 people have been cured in the last 24 hours.
According to official figures, after the recovery of these patients, the total number has risen to 320,849.
