Shoaib Akhtar backed Babar Azam on news of the national team captain’s concerns over the squad selected for the tour of South Africa and Zimbabwe on state-run PTV Sports.
Shoaib Akhtar said that Babar Azam is saying that the team of his will has not been announced, if he is in pain of this thing and wants to be a brand, then resign now and tell that in future it will not be against my will.
He said that if Babar did not resign then Sarfraz Part Two would be ready.
The former fast bowler said that for the last 10 to 15 years, the team was not selected honestly and the players who were dropped were abused.
It should be noted that captain Babar Azam is not happy with the squad announced for the tour of South Africa and Zimbabwe and he believes that his opinion was ignored in the team selection.
Babar Azam, in particular, is unhappy with the major changes in the T20 squad as he is not in favor of major changes in the squad due to the scheduled T20 World Cup this year.
