The Internet technology company has announced that its most popular software for computers and mobiles, ‘Microsoft Word’, has been changed to ‘Microsoft 365’, introducing many new features.
Microsoft Word is a must for every computer, writing and creating files is impossible without it.
Microsoft Word also includes Excel and Power Point, but now the company has decided to make them all part of a new application.
According to Microsoft, Word, Excel and PowerPoint will now be a part of ‘Microsoft 365’ while more new features have been added and will soon be made available to all users.
Microsoft 365 is an application that was introduced with Windows 10 and is now a part of almost every computer, but Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint were not included in it until now.
But now Word, Excel and Power Point will also be a part of it and at the same time the company has updated all these software and introduced a website or platform called ‘Create Microsoft’, where users can now edit video and graphics. Will also be able to do other creative work.
On the platform called ‘Create Microsoft’, users will be able to start work online for free and it can be used on browsers other than the company’s browser Microsoft Edge.
Under the said platform, users will now not only be able to easily edit videos but also create content for banners and graphics designers for various social media platforms.
That is, ‘Create Microsoft’ has been made similar to Canva and a video-adding platform all together, which is expected to increase its popularity.
Also, the company confirmed that now the icons of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point will also be changed and these softwares will be offered under new names after thirty years.
Microsoft Word was first introduced by the company in 1990 and now the company is presenting it with a new name and new features after three decades.
