The Ministry of Information Technology has introduced the alternative app ‘Beep Pakistan’ to the world’s largest instant application WhatsApp.
According to a report published in newspaper, Federal Minister for Information Technology Syed Aminul Haq introduced the application.
The said application was developed by the National Information Technology Board (NITB) Board and will initially be used within the Ministry.
Speaking at the launch of the application, Aminul Haq said that ‘Beep Pakistan’ will initially be used by officers of the Ministry of Information Technology and NIBT.

According to him, after a month, the trial of the said application will be extended to all federal government employees and every employee will be given access to the application.
He said that government employees will continue to use the said application for one year, after which it will be extended to general users.
Syed Aminul Haq while explaining some security features of the application claimed that ‘Beep Pakistan’ is a safe app, in which there is no question of leakage of documents, images and videos and it is not even the data of the application from third parties. There will be no access.
Explaining the features of ‘Beep Pakistan’, he said that it will have conference calls including audio, video calls and it will also have features like ‘Zoom’ application.
