Christchurch: Terrorist Brendan Tarant, who martyred 51 worshipers in New Zealand mosques, has been sentenced to life in prison.

According to the news agency, 29-year-old terrorist Brendan Trent first denied the crime and later pleaded guilty, however, for the first time in the history of New Zealand, an accused has been sentenced to life imprisonment without parole.
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Adrian has said in a statement that terrorist Brendan Trent deserved a life sentence.

It should be noted that Brendan Tarant opened fire on 2 mosques of Christchurch on March 15, 2019, killing 51 people and injuring 40 others.
