A police officer who raided an illegal cockfight in the Philippines has died after being hit by a rooster.
According to the BBC, the incident took place in the northern province of Samar in the Philippines, where an officer named Lieutenant Christine Bullock, who raided a cockfight, was injured by a sharp blade attached to his claw in a rooster attack. Were done

He was rushed to a hospital but was pronounced dead at the scene.

“It’s a tragic incident,” the provincial police chief told AFP, calling it “unfortunate” and saying “I can’t describe it.”
“I couldn’t believe it when I got the news,” he said.
“For the first time in my 25-year career in the police service, I have lost an officer in a cockfight,” the police chief said.
