Bangladesh T20 captain Mahmudullah has tested positive for the corona virus, knocking him out of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) playoffs.
Mahmudullah was scheduled to play the remaining matches of the T20 tournament starting next week, where the event was suspended due to an outbreak of the corona virus in mid-March.
The captain of the Bangladesh T20 team was supposed to represent the Multan Sultans but he will no longer be able to do so because of Corona.

Talking to reporters, Mahmudullah said, “I am surprised to get a positive test for Code-19. I did not show any fever or any other symptoms but only a cold. I took the test a second time and it was also positive.” came.
It is to be noted that the tests of several players including former Bangladesh captain Mushrafi Murtaza and Test opener Saif Hassan have come positive and those who later recovered.
The Multan Sultans have not yet announced a replacement for Mahmudullah.
On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi has also announced a replacement in the team at the last minute to replace Liam Livingston, who has been included in the English squad for the tour of South Africa, will be replaced by English player Saqib Mahmood.
Apart from these two, the other two teams to reach the playoffs are Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars.
The virus has so far killed 400,000 people and killed more than 6,000 in Bangladesh.
