SRINAGAR: An Indian paramilitary vehicle collided with a truck coming from the front due to high speed in occupied Kashmir, killing one officer and injuring three others.
According to Kashmir Media Service, one officer was killed and three others were injured in a collision between a vehicle and a truck of the Central Reserve Police Force in Bandipora district. The dead and injured have been shifted to hospitals. An inquiry committee has been formed to probe the incident.

A spokesman for the Central Reserve Police Force said the officer killed in the road accident was identified as Naresh Kumar while the injured included Ravi Raj, Ankit Kumar Gupta and Vinod Kumar. The vehicle was returning to headquarters after taking part in an operation.

On the other hand, in Budgam district, the occupying Indian army indiscriminately opened fire on a house during a search operation and martyred another Kashmiri youth, bringing the number of youths martyred in a week to 12.
