Mendirman Jaloliddin (Jalaluddin Khwarazm Shah) season 1 episode 8 Overview
In Mendirman Jaloliddin season 1 episode 8 Sultan Alauddin got angree upon his men in palace for not obeying his orders to the best of heart including his family members. He also talked about the Mongols who were seen near the Empire’s borders and made Shamsiddinbek the incharge to tackle them.
He also explained that he Oqshakh don’t understand that Sultan is not willing to talk in front of Shamsiddinbek. On asking about Jaloliddin he was told that he may went after Alikhan on which his assistant said that it is a bit earlier but still it has to be done someday. But sultan said that it could lead to a new conspiracy against him and asked his assistant to bring to him as early as possible.
Shamsiddinbek then went to the palace of Turkan Hatun and tell her about his meeting with Sultan and told Turkan that they continued meeting even when he left menas they don’t want to disscus the real issues with him. Anyhow Turkan Hatun asked him to investigate the issue of mongols before Njzamul-mulk do. Turkan Hatun the Queen also ordered Otanazar to find out Jaloliddin and Temur-Malik.
She than asked Uzloq-shakh where he was last night and asked her to not worry about Jaloliddin as a matter of fact that it was a temporary victory and he needs to focus about the bussiness and Uzloq-shakh has showed the confidence got from the strangers he met last night. Turkan got impressed by his confidence and said that he didn’t waste his time. She also asked him to discuss every move with her but it was clear that he didn’t want to share those secrets and queen knew it by his behavior and hoping that it end well. Then tha queen start checking the wedding preparations.
The strangers say mongols had an eye on Jaloliddin who’s trying to catch Alikhan and by his movement they knew it and therefore planning to attack him when he’ll try to seize Alikhan because he had to choose between defending himself and to attack Alikhan. Meanwhile Jaloliddin seized Alikhan and asked him to leave the horses because he want to talk to him and he is not going to kill him because he is the soldier of Khwarazm.
Jaloliddin than tie them with a rope and asked him that he’ll hide them for few days and that he is going to appoint a person loyal to sultan Alauddin and when everything will be fime he’ll let him to ask Ayubis for a help. But if he disobeys again that Jaloliddin will make sure about his certain death. On asking about his family prince said as long as he’ll leave the borders his family will be sent after him.
Turkan Hatun who wants to meet Mahmudbek welcome him on hjs arrivel and asked him about the preparations of wedding and inform that uzloq-shakh is going to get married instead of Jaloliddin. Mahmudbek told her about the mongols invasion of China and that he met Genghis khan and he wanted to talk about khwarazm but he didn’t reveal any useful information.
Queen then asked him to get ready for the marriage and then she’ll call him for further discussion. She thought he is a useful person and through him she can know what Genghis khan wants and could act accordingly.
Mongols seems worried about sending their all troops against China because they couldn’t make them lost completely and if they send all their army there they could be attacked from behind. They understand that sultan Alauddin will never attacked them in the desert leaving behind a peaceful life but someone else could. Meanwhile, Jaloliddin said that if Temur-Malik solved the problem with Khusomiddin they can rest a bit and in that case only Izaddin will left in Samarkand and they’ll pretend that they don’t knkw he left the city he said.
Sultan was told that Turkan Hatun, Uzloq-shakh and Mehrijakhon want Oqshakh to be on their side and he’s smart enough to make the right decision like Jaloliddin but sultan said that Turkan Hatun will never stay calm on this so they need to be careful. Little prince saw a worthy women of the palace entering a shop from where another old women left and he also noticed a man chasing him.
Inside the shop first the old women was given bribe to get information about the palace and bring a snake into the palace and then the planted women also asked about her position in the palace. She told the man that people stop trusting her anymore and that she is also restricted to leave the palace.
Meanwhile, Jaloliddin while bringing Alikhan to a safe place is invaded by those stranger mongols by setting up a trap in their way and killed his soldiers.
